Nos Poemas de Agora, Alda Rodrigues escreve sobre "Head of a Dandelion", de Alice Oswald; Gustavo Rubim sobre ":departures:", de Ricardo Tiago Moura; Jorge Almeida sobre "o que dói primeiro", de Bruna Beber; Maria Sequeira Mendes sobre "There is nothing wrong with my sister", de Lorraine Mariner e Sebastião Belfort Cerqueira sobre "7", de Pedro Tamen.

In the New Poems section, Alda Rodrigues writes about Alice Oswald's "Head of a Dandelion"; Gustavo Rubim about Ricardo Tiago Moura's ":departures:" and Maria Sequeira Mendes on Lorraine Mariner's "There is nothing wrong with my sister".

O mais bonito dos poemas, "Lion of Philosophy", de Kudo Naoko, é analisado por Akihito Shimizu, nos Poemas de Antes.

In Old Poems, Akihiko Shimizu analyses Kudo Naoko's beautiful "Lion of Philosophy": "In Lion’s discourse, philosophy (“tetsugaku”) is written in Hiragana characters (てつがく). To readers with Japanese language skills, this implies a trace of juvenility in Lion, as grown-ups would write philosophy in more complex Kanji characters (哲学). The juvenility of Lion is juxtaposed to the Snail’s lines: Snail always talks about philosophy in Kanji character. The concept of philosophy is alien to Lion, while for Snail, it is an established and lived knowledge".

Leia aqui.

On the 14th of August, we met Lorraine Mariner outside the National Poetry Library, at the Southbank Centre in London. We spoke for about an hour about poetry and poets, but also about Ikea furniture, the dress we never had and the musicians we would keep in a basement at our disposal to write and play for us forever. Read here.
